Hey Everyone,
Yesterday we observed our meal worms - sketching, measuring, and describing all we noticed about their bodies and their behaviors.
Afterward you came up with some really great questions we might want to answer. These included:
* What do they eat?
* Where do they live?
* What eats them?
* How long do they live?
* What body parts do they have?
* Can the adults fly?
* How do you know if they're a boy or girl?
* Can they see? Do they have eyes?
* Are they harmful? Are they pests?
* Do they drink water?
* Do they have mouths?
* Do they live in groups?
* How big do they get?
Last night I surfed the net and found some
helpful websites we might check out together. I'm going to put the links
for these sites below and today you can use your Chromebook to see if
you can find the answers to our questions. You might even find other information we didn't even consider yesterday.
When you click on each link please STAY ON THAT PAGE. Do not click on advertisements or pictures on the webpages. When you find everything you need from a page you can HIT THE BACK BUTTON at the top of your page to come back to our class blog and try a different link.
Record everything you find in your science journal. Just put the date at the top of the next blank page and start writing. Enjoy!
