1. Read and log each day. The log is due back next Monday.
2. On Tuesday the kids will have an assignment to complete with you and bring back the following morning. Our class is beginning a study of hunger and homelessness to contextualize the Passing of the Cans food drive we are participating in as a school. To launch this study we will have a small inquiry into the concept of power. On Tuesday the kids will begin creating a list of the decisions they make for themselves and the decisions others make for them. They will actually have a few of these lists because this changes from one place to another (say, between home, school, and a grandparent's house). They will show you the lists they have started and ask you to help them add in some other ideas they may have overlooked. We'll discuss them in class on Wednesday.
3. A math packet will come home on Wednesday and be due back next Monday.
