Homework: Monday, 10/12 - Monday, 10/19

1. Read and log each night. Make sure these are in Home Folders each day in case we look over them at school.

2. There is a math packet. Having missed a week to the flood there might be a few things that feel rusty to the kids in there. We are revisiting some of this in the classroom as well. I say this because they might need a little more help than usual this week. These are due back next Monday.

3. Practice Gathering speeches all week! I'd love for them to practice it once or twice each night directly from their sheet then once or twice more without their sheet (working from memory). They are welcome to use the scripts/sheets at Gathering but I'm going to suggest they try talking without them, if they feel comfortable doing so. Of course, the goal isn't to remember it word-for-word but to be able to talk comfortably about their topic. Like I mentioned earlier, they're more than welcome to use the sheets on Friday if they feel they'll need them. Talking in front of 250 people isn't easy!
