The kids will be coming home today with this year's class CD. We recorded it a few weeks ago before it was mixed and written to the CDs. A big thank you goes out to Clark Watson (a CFI parent) for bringing in his recording gear and manning the boards. The CD includes five songs: (1) Readers are Writers, (2) Second Grade Blues, (3) Carefully Taught, (4) Reading is Thinking, and (5) The Animal Song. Songs 1 and 5 were written by this group of kids.
The CD is my end-of-year gift to them. I hope they enjoy listening to themselves sing alongside their good friends!
