Meet Mrs. Schumacher!

As I hope you all know, we have an MAT (Masters in Art of Teaching) student intern working and learning in our classroom this week. Hi! My name is Mrs. Schumacher and I am Mr. Hass’ MAT for this semester. I am from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and I spent most of my life there before leaving for college. I got my undergraduate degree from Clemson in Anthropology, but I knew I really wanted to be a teacher so I started at USC in the spring! I love spending time on the beach and spending time with family. I recently got married so my family expanded some, I have a younger brother, and an adorable two year old nephew. Some of my hobbies are crafting, reading, and going to football games. I’m really excited to work towards becoming a teacher with Mr. Hass’ class. I’ve spent the past couple of weeks really getting to know them and knowing how awesome each of them are!
