The kids will be bringing a few things home to complete this week. Of course, they'll be reading each night at they always do. However, they'll also bring home a two-question interview on Monday which they need to conduct with a parent and then return by Wednesday. For some, there may also be a math sheet they'll need to complete in the evenings. The kids are answering 64 addition problems each morning before they head off to Explorations. They have 30 minutes to complete these problems and any that are left unfinished will need to accompany them home to be finished up. Most will finish this in class. My guess is that as the week progresses the others will learn to work a little faster so they can move on to Explorations and have no extra work coming home.
