Monday
1. Read for at least twenty minutes
2. Come in with at least one item for our election chart. This should be a belief/goal of either Nikki Haley or Vincent Sheheen. We're working to learn that government officials are elected by the people and our votes are cast based on issues we feel are important to our communities. Today we visited Nikki Haley's website and learned that the issues she feels are important to voters are: jobs, education, taxes, spending, gun laws, standing up to Washington, and prisons (this is how the kids framed "right to live"). We'll visit Vincent Sheheen's site tomorrow and then watch a commercial or two later in the week.
Tuesday

Wednesday

2. Bring your expert project research home and look it over with your parents. You need to continue collecting research at home. When you bring this back in next Monday you need to have each and every section you're created (Habitat, Food, Body, etc) filled with enough facts to write from. There is no magic number for this but any questions a reader might have should be answered.
3. Practice your multiplication flash cards for at least 5 minutes and have a parent sign the back of your reading log showing you've done this.
