1. Read each night and provide a three-sentence summary of what you read. These logs help me peek in on each of your reading and see not only what sorts of book choices you are making but how well you are able to pull out some of the most important information from your reading and retell it in your own words. This is something we'll soon be working on together. Our weekly logs will continue to change every few weeks - reflecting the sorts of work we are doing in the classroom. Be careful, when you complete your log, to do your very best. The nightly log should probably be taking you somewhere between 5 - 10 minutes.
2. Make a final decision about what you will teach the class. Once you've decided you can sign up for a day to share. The sign-up form is in the classroom. Everyone needs to sign up by the end of the week.
