Hi! My name is Carla Stewart and I am the MAT student in Mr. Hass' class. I had the pleasure of meeting some of you at opening picnic and I'm so excited to work with your children this semester.
My undergraduate degree is from the University of South Carolina. I was raised in a small town called Gaffney, S.C. I am married to my wonderful husband David. I come from a really big family and I am the oldest of five children. I have two brothers and two sisters. I also have two nieces and a nephew that I absolutely adore.
Currently, I am in the classroom one day a week on Thursdays. In October I will be coming to the class twice a week. Finally, in November I will be in the classroom every day for three weeks. In my three week immersion I will start teaching a lesson or two each day. I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to teach and learn from such a wonderful school as the Center for Inquiry.
