1. Read at least twenty minutes each night and log. The new log has a space where you need to tell me what strategies you are using to solve tricky words (ones you either can't say or don't know what they mean). This is due next Monday.
2. A math packet will come home on Tuesday and is due back next Monday. Those who turned in a completed reading log with their name on it this week are excused from the math packet.
3. On Friday the kids will bring their writing journals home for the weekend. They need to individualize it in some way. They can use pictures, stickers, markers, paper, etc. These are due back the following Monday.
