Homework: Tuesday, 9/9 - Tuesday, 9/9

1. Read each night (including the weekend) for at least twenty minutes. There is a reading log this week so be sure to complete it each night. We'll be logging our reading in class as well. The log is due back next Tuesday. You're USC Tall Teachers will want to look it over to see what they can learn about you as a reader from the information on your log.

2. Complete the math worksheet handed out today. It is a review of addition from last year. Make sure one of your parents checks in with you to see how you are doing with these problems. Once you've completed it and they've offered any help you may need, have them sign it before bringing it back in to me next Tuesday. The reason for the signature is just to make sure your folks have a chance to see how you're doing with some "old" concepts.

3. Practice your multiplication flashcards (the 2s table) for a quiz on Friday. Try to go through these a couple times a day. You could do this during explorations at school as well. We'll be making the flashcards Wednesday morning.

4. On Thursday a cursive review packet will come home. Work carefully on this and bring it back next Tuesday. If you're struggling with anything (a letter or a connection) be sure to ask your parents to help you. Cursive can be a little tricky at first but you're all SO close to having it down!
