Jacqueline Woodson Video

Get out your Reading notebook and a pencil then watch this video of Jacqueline Woodson.  You'll want to use a set of headphones so your audio does not distract others. As the video is playing stop and jot down anything you learn about her you want to discuss later. You can hit "PAUSE" if you need to.

When the video ends a series of other Jacqueline Woodson videos will appear on the screen. Scroll over them until you find the one titled "It starts with a character." It should be the one at the bottom left-hand corner. Watch that video as well.

Later today we will begin our author study of Ms. Woodson. You will launch this author study by sharing some of things you were interested to learn about her in the videos.
