Joshua Bello's Last Day

Today was most likely Joshua Bello's last day with us. His father recently accepted a job in Dallas and they will be moving there over the break. There's a slight chance he might be back to finish the year with us, but most likely he will not.

If you didn't have the chance to meet Joshua, he's an incredibly sweet guy. The kids shared appreciations for him at the end of the day and many of them talked about the constant smile on his face, his wonderful sense of humor, and his impressive intellect. That describes him very well. As they left today, most gave him a big, big hug. Others offered him a handshake or a slap of the hand. This is a special group of kids. I go home most every day energized and incredibly thankful for the opportunity to be a part of each of their lives. They are incredible.
