On Monday we played a math game called Remainder. This is how you play, you have a bowl of 15 cubes, 6 sheets of paper and 1 die. You roll the die and the number it rolls is the number of papers you get. Then you'll have to keep on putting cubes on the paper until you run out. If there is any left they become remainders.
After you do that you write on your paper your math problem like 15 divided by 3 = 5. You also write on your paper the remainder. If your remainder was 1 you would put R.1 and keep the 1 cube. Now you have 14 cubes to play with. You keep playing until there are no more cubes left. We are playing this game to learn about division and remainders.
