We thought that Marty's dad was kind of nice. Because he wanted to follow the law and also did not take Shiloh right away to Judd Travers to be hurt and kicked. But his dad told Marty that if the dog is not good enough he could keep him until he was better.
And about Judd Travers : Judd Travers is a mean man. If he finds out that the Preston's have Shiloh who knows what would happen. Judd had warned Marty that if he finds Shiloh return him so he can kick the day lights out of Shiloh. Marty had never learned how to tell the truth so he always lied just for Shiloh. Marty actually had built a pen for Shiloh up on the hill. Marty`s dad owns the hill that he built the pen on so Judd would not go up there anyway. So Marty thought that it would be good if he built the pen up there then it would be safe from Judd. But the Bakers dog (German shepherd) had Jumped the fence.
But Marty wanted to keep the dog so much that he goes out and collects cans from the streets so he can buy Shiloh from Judd he does not know how much Judd would want to sell Shiloh for but it turns out Judd does not want to sell Shiloh. We thought that it is good that he got hurt because Shiloh's not well enough that he cannot go back to Judd yet so the longer that Shiloh's not well the longer he can keep Shiloh.
We thought that what was Shiloh worth to Judd because he mistreated his dogs. Shiloh did not want to go back anyway Shiloh is not much of a hunting dog. Shiloh would not be any good for Judd because he is hurt and cannot walk neither catch deer. Krissy and Gracyn agreed that we would never kick a dog. WOOF!
