On Wednesday we studied rocks and minerals. There are three tests that scientists use to figure out what type of mineral they're looking at. The appearance test, the streak test and the hardness test. The appearance test was with Mrs. Shealy. The streak test was with Mrs. Jones and the hardness test was with Mr. Hass. The class were in groups and rotated each day.
Marina was first in Ms. Shealy's group, then Ms. Jones' group. Dominique was in Mrs. Jones's group, then Mr. Hass's.
Afterwards, we watched Bill Nye the Science Guy. We wrote notes from the facts in the video.
The final rotation is on Friday. Marina will be in Mr. Hass' group and Dominique will be in Ms. Shealy's group.
